800 m² Indoor Adventure Park Project in Portugal

Delivered project · 3D design renderings shown · Portugal

This 800 m² indoor adventure park in Portugal was designed and equipped by NinescapeLand, a factory-direct playground equipment manufacturer in Wenzhou, China. The concept is a purple-and-yellow sports park: a large trampoline arena with slam-dunk hoops and dodgeball, a professional trampoline lane behind high netting, a climbing wall with auto-belay, a ninja elements course suspended from the steel trusses, and a two-storey castle play structure with three racing slides into a ball pool. If you are comparing an adventure park concept against a classic soft-play centre for an 800 m² building, this page shows where the money goes.

    Background & Site Conditions

The building is a regular rectangle with generous clear height and an industrial exposed ceiling — conditions that favour a trampoline-led programme, because the trusses carry both the lighting and the suspended ninja elements. The entrance corner holds the WELCOME arch, shoe lockers and a yellow cash desk; toilets sit directly beside it so the sports zones stay clean of through-traffic.

The brief was youth-oriented: dodgeball, slam dunk and challenge elements first, toddler provision second. That is why the castle structure — the only “soft play” element — is pushed to one side of the plan instead of the centre.

    Layout & Zoning

Portugal 800sqm adventure park - top-view floor plan

The plan splits cleanly: the trampoline-led sports half on the left, the castle structure on the right, connected by a stepped platform and slide tower with the ninja course bridging both above the foam pit.

    • Reception — purple WELCOME arch with bulb edging, two banks of arch-shaped lockers with a clock topper, yellow Cash Desk.
    • Trampoline arena — grid of black beds with purple framing, angled bounce walls, and a pro-lane strip inside its own high netting.
    • Slam dunk & dodgeball — two clear-board hoops landing on trampolines, plus transparent bubble balls for bumper games.
    • Foam pit & climbing — black/yellow/purple foam pit edged by a three-panel climbing wall with auto-belay rails and CHALLENGE pillars.
    • Ninja course — hanging rings, chain swings, floating step bridge and a spider-web crawl cage under the trusses, all landing over the pit.
    • Interactive wall — purple sci-fi FUEL CELL / ACCESS wall with fan wheels, gears and flip blocks.
    • Castle structure — two-storey white steel castle with striped towers: three purple racing slides, a spiral crawl tube, climb grids and a crawl deck with hanging posts into a white-purple-yellow ball pool.
    • Inflatables — purple inflatable slide, rainbow climb and a white helicopter prop for seasonal rotation.

Why this arrangement: the foam pit is the hinge of the whole plan. Climbing, the ninja course and the trampoline exits all land in it, so one piece of safety area serves four attractions — the single most effective cost saving in this category. The castle sits opposite the entrance so that younger siblings are always visible while parents watch the trampoline zone; and the inflatables stay near the door where they can be swapped seasonally without touching the fixed equipment.

    Design Trade-offs

Two trade-offs define this plan. First, no big parent cafe: the sports-park model accepts fewer sitting parents in exchange for more activity area — lockers and a small seating strip only. If your catchment is drive-in families who stay two hours, reintroduce a cafe and shrink the pro-lane strip. Second, inflatables are used as a seasonal layer rather than a fixed investment: they add novelty for social media at low cost but are excluded from the safety-critical fixed equipment list.

    Materials & Safety

    • Purple/black padded trampoline edging; full-height black mesh around all jump areas
    • Foam pit walls fully padded; auto-belay rails inspected mounting on steel trusses
    • Castle structure with white mesh fencing and purple/yellow soft guardrails
    • Grey sports floor in circulation; purple/yellow/grey soft tiles in the castle area
    • Neon signage (Game Time, COOL!, GO FOR IT) and purple-yellow LED ribbons under the ceiling

    FAQ

Adventure park or classic soft play for 800 m²?

It depends on your catchment: a youth-heavy, school-pickup catchment rewards the trampoline-led model shown here; a toddler-heavy mall catchment rewards more role-play and parent seating. We usually draw both revenue models before fixing the layout.

What is the auto-belay on the climbing wall?

An automatic belay device that takes up slack as the climber ascends and lowers them safely if they let go — it lets one attendant supervise several climbing lines.

Can the castle structure be themed differently?

Yes — the same two-storey frame can carry pirate, space or candy styling. The three racing slides and crawl tube stay the same.

How many staff does this park need?

Typically 3–4 on the floor: one at reception, one in the trampoline court, one rotating between the pit, climbing wall and castle.

Do you deliver and install in Portugal?

We ship to Portuguese ports with export documents and supervise installation locally. Send your plan via our contact page.
